Santa Barbara, CA

Holden's 11th week birthday on Sunday was spent traveling on the highway and ended with a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl.  Then on Monday he took a carrying walk through his first ocean dip and loved every minute of it- see above for evidence.  Then another 9 hour drive home, for what normally takes 6.  Our present from Holden was finding out how long it takes to drive long distances with a newborn.  Luckily, he's cute as button and we love him.  Enjoy some new snapshots.

Boyz in Da Sling

Photographed today, Saturday Sept 24th.  Tomorrow Holden sees his first live concert:  Bright Eyes at the Santa Barbara Bowl, along with his first view of the ocean and feet in the saltwater.  He's happy- you can just look at him and tell how happy he is about all this.  And by all this, we mean life.  And by life, we mean everything.  And by everything, we mean anything is a possibility.  Enjoy.

New & (Barely) Old

 
The top photograph was taken 2 days ago, Sunday, Sept 18th.  Mini-Holden is sitting in the rocker in his Mama's arms, raising one eyebrow.  The bottom snapshot was taken tonight.  Holden is sleeping on the bed after seeing a slideshow in the Village.  Enjoy.

El Cap Meadow Photo Session

We went out to El Cap meadow yesterday with the grandparents, Bill & Aileen, and looked at climbers.  Laura and I took pictures of each other, passing the little one back and forth.  Holden is looking his age these days- 69 of them in fact.  Enjoy.
