Patagonia Snowsuit

I had to get some snapshots of the snowsuit in action today.  While mama worked, Holden and I dressed up and went into the snow.  Holden then saw his stroller and kept signing "please" until I pulled it out and we went strollin'.

Bracebridge Redux

Our second year at Bracebridge. Here are some behind the scenes shots taken on Christmas Night.  Laura and Holden are both in costume and waiting out the 2 hour break between the 2 acts the forest folk appear in.  Holden reprised his role as the baby they sing to, however he fussed and cried during the song sung to him.  The audience took it well as the jester played around to amuse Holden, but next year we will be forest folk only.

Christmas Day

Holden's favorite by far was the chu-chu.  Playing with train set, holding the train set, and saying he likes the train set.  Chu-Chu.

The Forgotten XMAS Card

We forgot to post the Christmas card yesterday that was sent in the mail, so everyone could see it who did not get one.  We think its the sh*t's n*pples, as they say sometimes around here.  Or I say.  Enjoy.

Chrismas Outtakes

These are the outtakes from the fun afternoon spent at the Ahwahnee Hotel 2 weeks ago.  We brought a bottle of wine and set up the tripod and shutter release.  We moved around, got in position, took a drink, tried again, changed lenses, changed aperatures, chased Holden, got in position, etc.  Carey Swick, Jack and Summer shared the bottle of wine with us while Summer and Carey took turns pushing the shutter release and putting us in place.  The Christmas card comes out tomorrow on Facebook, and the past 7 days have been the release of the outtakes.  Merry Christmas Eve everyone- enjoy!

A Long December

and there's reason to believe, maybe this year will be as kick-ass as the last.   Here's some Decemeber snapshots as we countdown to XMAS.  Enjoy.

Vacation Up Land

After Vegas, we traveled to Laura's parents and stayed in Upland for about a week and a half.  A little before this is when Laura began her 2-3 year plan to move the family back to Southern California, so now we take the opportunity to search for the good things.  During this vacation we went to the LA Zoo and the Long Beach Aquarium, the Rancho Cucamonga Brewery and saw the laser light show that begins XMAS at Victoria Gardens.  We had Thanksgiving and Laura's Bday on the same day in Upland this year.  The next trip will be a visit to Covina Tasty and a search for eating only locally owned food establishments.  Needless to say, Holden had fun and found trucks to push (and the word "Tuwuck" to say), parks to swing in, restaurants to make a mess in, places to look cute in, and cars to drive in.  Enjoy.

Vegas Vacation

In the middle of the month we found ourselves in Vegas for Shane and Karen's wedding (bottom pictures), and a visit to my Dad's new place in Henderson (all the rest of the snapshots).  Little man got to play slot machines inside grandpa's house, go on the carousel rides in the mall and sit on a big leather chair inside a casino.  All in all it was a quick three days so we would like to visit again soon, and get some pictures of everyone together next time.
